OctoWatch is included in the Register of Russian Software by the Order of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia dated May 27, 2021, No. 501, Appendix No. 1, registry No. 10597. The system has low system requirements and is very simple to deploy and use.
We were approached by the IT specialist of the city administration of N. The task: to record employee activities, track working hours, and restrict access to shared folders. The challenge was compounded by the fact that the computers had low performance specifications and specific software that was run in DOS emulation mode. Previously, the system administrator had tested one of the well-known DLP systems, and it caused failures in the operation of this old DOS software, preventing documents from being printed. Technical support could not resolve the issue. OctoWatch specialists launched a pilot project, identified problematic areas in the system, and successfully implemented the solution.
